With The Crew 2 Closed Beta having just passed and the full release three weeks away, Ubisoft and Ivory Tower have officially revealed their post-launch plans for the first year of The Crew 2, including new vehicles and content updates available free for everyone.

Each month, two new vehicles will be added to The Crew 2 with no current details on each months vehicles, however vehicles such as the Ferrari FXX K and MV Agusta Brutale Dragster 800 R were showcased, so expect those to be the first months vehicles.

These monthly vehicles are free for everyone but still require to be purchased via in-game Bucks or CC, with Season Pass holders getting free and 7 days early access to this content, similar to the Rainbow Six Siege season pass style.

Season Pass holders will also have access to exclusive vehicles from Day One, including the Porsche 991 Turbo 3.6, Supermarine Spitfire MK IX and ICE Marine Blade Runner 35

Every three months, The Crew 2 will receive major content expansions as a part of their 'LIVE Updates', which will also be available free to everyone. These updates will include new events, skills, vehicles, disciplines, game features and much much more.

The first LIVE Update launches in September: Gator Rush. This update introduces a whole new Hovercraft discipline with five new hovercrafts to purchase and events to compete in, as well as a whole new Legendary loot rarity system for upgrading your vehicles.

The second LIVE update is expected to launch in December, which will add the hotly anticipated PVP Game Mode to The Crew 2, but still requires several months of polish and fine-tuning first. Full details on this update will be announced in the future.

The community behind The Crew 2 will play a major role in how the post-launch content is released, with content shaping around feedback and technical tests such as the recent Beta being taking into account in the development process.

The Crew 2 is shaping up to be the best racing game of the year let alone the generation, with a live service model ensuring that players will have content to look forward to for months up until at least Spring 2019. What content would you like to see added to The Crew 2? Let us know down below!

The Crew 2 launches on June 29th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, or three days earlier on June 26th for purchasers of the Gold or Motor Editions.
