Forza Horizon 4 Has Gone Gold, Day One Car Pack Revealed
Playground Games have announced that the upcoming open-world racer Forza Horizon 4 has officially gone gold almost two weeks before early-access launch, with a demo now available for both Xbox One and Windows 10.
Announced over on the Forza Motorsport website, the title is now off for pressings of retail discs and final setup for digital release, which will be available on 28th September for those purchasing the Ultimate Edition and 2nd October for the standard edition and Xbox Game Pass.
The post also officially announced the ‘Best of Bond’ Car Pack, which will be the Day One Car Pack for Forza Horizon 4. The Best of Bond pack is included with the Ultimate Edition and will also be sold separately on 2nd October.
The Best of Bond car pack features 10 iconic cars from James Bond films such as Goldfinger, The Man With the Golden Gun, Skyfall, Spectre and more. These vehicles include modern classics such as the BMW Z8 from The World Is Not Enough, and an assortment of 007’s classic Aston’s such as the iconic Aston Martin DB5.

· 1964 Aston Martin DB5 inspired by Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), GoldenEye (1995), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015)
· 1969 Aston Martin DBS from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
· 1974 AMC Hornet X Hatchback from The Man With the Golden Gun (1974)
· 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
· 1981 Citroën 2CV6 from For Your Eyes Only (1981)
· 1986 Aston Martin V8 from The Living Daylights (1987)
· 1999 BMW Z8 from The World is Not Enough (1999)
· 2008 Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace (2008)
· 2010 Jaguar C-X75 from Spectre (2015)
· 2015 Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre (2015)
Several vehicles in the pack will also feature gadgets inspired by the films that players can view in Forzavista mode, such as the 1964 Aston Martin DB5’s revolving number plate and extendable bumper rams. The Lotus Esprit S1 will feature a special bodykit option inspired by the “Wet Nellie” submarine vehicle from The Spy Who Loved Me.
Players who own the Best of Bond Pack will also recieve Bond-themed goodies, including two James Bond outfits for your avatar as well as six exclusive “Quick Chat” phrases to use online.
Forza Horizon 4 releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 on October 2nd 2018, or September 28th 2018 for Ultimate Edition purchasers, and will be available free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch.
