Original Story: EA and developer Criterion Games has at long last, begun teasing the next Need for Speed title, amid rumours of an ‘imminent’ reveal began to circulate last week.

Updating over on their socials, the Need for Speed Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts have all been updated - teasing a new NFS logo design and the title’s green colour scheme.

Criterion Games has also updated its logo using the new colour scheme, with a full reveal looking increasingly likely to happen later this week.

From current rumours, Need for Speed 2022 is reportedly titled Unbound and will be set in a fictionalized Chicago with a photorealistic art style with ‘anime elements’. A big new feature coming to the game is ‘Meetups’, where players can meet up around the map and initiate races. The tracks around the map are described as ‘unique’, with one of Henderson’s sources saying the map has a large train running through it.
