Need for Speed Payback Build of the Week #9 - Mercedes-Benz AMG G63
A new week means a new Build of the Week, this time revealing a new look at a blacked out Mercedes-Benz AMG G63. The AMG G63 is yet another previously revealed car to be showcased on Build of the Week, with its first appearance in the off-road gameplay we saw earlier in August.

This build has been built for the runner class – one of the five classes you can make your cars in Need for Speed Payback – which is a class that focuses on being discreet yet nimble or heavyweight to counteract Fortune Valley's Police Department. While this build does not feature much customization wise, it has been built to withstand some of the toughest shunts that might come its way, coated in dark purple metallic finish.
Down below you can find images as well as this builds current modifications and both its stock and modified performance statistics. Additionally, if you want your own custom viewing angle of the AMG G63, the Build of the Week post over on EA’s website includes a 360° view around the car for you to catch the perfect screenshot. (Images will be updated once their 360 viewer starts working.)
This week’s build is something different, we’ve built a Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 as a Runner car. When the goal is to have a discreet yet strong and heavyweight car to engage with the cops there is no substitute for a big SUV. The AMG G63 is a classic and built with toughness in mind, coupled with the dark purple metallic paint it turns an already mean machine into a menace!
With Need for Speed Payback featuring multiple new brands and vehicle types that were absent from Need for Speed (2015), its refreshing to see an SUV featured on Build of the Week. Only a month of build of the week remains, with four new or previously revealed builds left to showcase! What build of the nine has been your favourite thus far, and which cars are you still holding out hope to see revealed for Need for Speed Payback's car list in the last four weeks of Builds of the Week? Let us know down in the comments, and if you missed any of the previous builds, be sure to check them out down below!
