Watch Dogs Legion Gameplay, Co-op and Release Date Details Revealed

Ubisoft have revealed the world first look at gameplay of Watch Dogs Legion and will be launching in March next year.

After months of leaks, Watch Dogs Legion will be set in near-future London in a post-Brexit world where you’ll be tasked with building a resistance in order to fight the opportunists who have seized power.

In Watch Dogs Legion, every Londoner has a reason to fight back. Play as literally any character — a taxi driver, an ex-spy, a fallen boxer, a well-connected lawyer, a stark raving mad grandma, anyone. Each character is individually voiced and animated with their own unique set of traits and backstory.

Your choices will have an effect on the world, for example using fists will result in enemies attempting to arrest or take you down non-lethally, however drawing a weapon could result in a confrontation that could end with your character permanently killed.

All characters in Watch Dogs: Legion’s open world abide by specific daily schedules. They’ll wake up in their apartment, head out into the city, meet up with friends and family, and pursue recreational activities with other characters. They also have their own problems and helping them with those problems is a great way to get them to change their tune about DedSec.

Once a new member has been recruited into your Resistance, you’ll be able to assign them one of three distinct classes – Enforcer, Infiltrator, or Hacker – each of which has a unique skill set. Enforcers can equip heavier weapons like assault rifles and have a shock sticky mine skill. Infiltrators are expert sneakers; everyone in London has mandatory augmented-reality implants, which Infiltrators can hack to cloak themselves or knocked-out enemies. Hackers have access to the Spider Bot, which is great for the operative who doesn’t like to get their hands dirty. All classes can perform basic hacking on objects like doors, cars, and cameras, but only Hackers will be able to hijack military drones to use to their advantage.

Co-op will also be returning for Watch Dogs Legion, you’ll be able to team up with up to three friends in co-op mode to explore dedicated online content, missions and exciting side activities such as bareknuckle boxing, freestyle football, illegal couriering, and posting street art.

Progression in Watch Dogs Legion will be shared between modes, whether you’re playing Solo or four player co-op.
