The Crew 2 Blazing Shots Update Revealed, Adds 12 New Vehicles, Events, Vanity Items and More
At long last, The Crew 2’s latest free post-launch update - Blazing Shots - has been officially revealed and will be available to all players later today!
The Crew 2 Blazing Shots is doing something a little different this time around, with an initial content drop launching today (November 13), followed by weekly new content drops each week over the duration of the next few months - including new vehicles, events, vanity items and LIVE Summits.
Here’s everything that players can expect from the 1st Month of Blazing Shots Content, including the Mazda RX8, a Ghost Recon Breakpoint themed LIVE Summit and rewards, new vanity items and more:
New Vehicles and Vanity Items
Over the duration of the Blazing Shots update, a total of 12 NEW VEHICLES are coming to The Crew 2 and will be available as both new vehicles to buy from the Shop or earn during LIVE Summits. First up, the legendary Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse (HC) will be available to purchase from the Shop as soon as the update goes live today. Not only that, a new Elite Bundle will also be available adding three new exclusive vehicles to buy during the first month
The Elite Bundle #3 includes the:
• Porsche Carrera GT (HC)
• Citroën GT (HC)
• Ferrari 599XX EVO (TC)
On the fourth week following the Blazing Shots update, the Mazda RX-8 will be making its debut in The Crew (and any racing game in a very long time) on December 4th. The RX-8 will be one of the first vehicles introduced to the shop as part of the regular, drip feed new vehicles.
Blazing Shots is also adding a variety of new Vanity Items for players to purchase and earn, with a brand-new vanity item type being introduced on Day 1: Underglows! Several new smokes and tires will also be available on release, with more vanity items being added on a weekly basis.
Themed Weeks, New LIVE Summits and Events
One new addition coming with the Blazing Shots update is Themed Weeks, which appear to be crossover events with other major Ubisoft titles with rewards, events and LIVE Summits focusing towards the crossover.
If you’re a fan of the recently-released Ghost Recon Breakpoint, then you’re gonna love The Crew 2’s first themed week - Ghost Road. Ghost Road begins on November 27, with the Ford F-150 RAPTOR RACE TRUCK Ghost Recon Edition (RR) up for grabs! Hopefully we’ll see a Watch Dogs themed week in the near future!
Speaking of LIVE Summits, a brand new batch of LIVE Summits have been added with Blazing Shots, in addition 17 brand new events that will be introduced during the new Summits. These events will then join the normal pool of PvE events after the summit has ended.
