Last week, Codemasters began teasing a new reveal for the upcoming action arcade racer ONRUSH over on their official Twitter page, claiming that 'a stampede is coming'.

Today, the team at Codemasters revealed new details on the title, including a brand new trailer - showcasing a new look at ONRUSH's action packed high octane gameplay captured directly in-game. You can check it out yourselves down below, which looks very reminiscent of Motorstorm right down to the Crevasse by The Qemists track blasting in the background.

Over on the Codemasters Blog, new details were announced on the title's car classes, which will feature eight different car classes each with their own unique driving style, handling and abilities.

These classes include: Blade, Outlaw, Vortex, Charger, Interceptor, Dynamo, Titan and Enforcer.

Codemasters say that each classes abilities are tailored to different play styles, and are crucial in online racing where tactics are key to victory. Offensive abilities are more curated for players who enjoy building up their rage and inflicting it on their opponents, while Support abilities are curated for those players who like assisting others. In addition, if you are not a fan of the car class you are racing as in certain online races, you can very easily pick another and rejoin the action instantly!

Throughout the latest trailer, various liveries can be seen on each car. These liveries have been designed by the artists at AnyForty, and in ONRUSH there will be β€œan endless amount of customisation options at your fingertips to ensure that you stand out from the stampede.” Not only will your car be unique with certain abilities and driving styles, but also by your selected livery too!

Codemasters also confirmed that an Open Beta for ONRUSH will be happening for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in May, with a previously announced Early Access Beta coming exclusively to PlayStation 4 users who pre-order either the standard or digital deluxe versions of the game.
