Need for Speed Heat January Update Leaks New KS Bodykit Files
UPDATE: GZILLA has now uploaded gameplay of these new vehicles, suggesting these very well could be new bodykits for the Aventador S, Land Rover Defender and Countach as they are able to be customized and aren’t locked like the current KS cars in the game.
You can check out footage of the new cars below (NOTE: This is WIP and may or may not be available in the game in the future):
Original Story: A bunch of new bodykits have been found in the game files after the release of Need for Speed Heat’s January Update earlier today, indicating that we might be getting new KS kits in one of the games future updates.
Discovered by famous Need for Speed modder GZILLA, three new bodykit options have been found inside the game files for the Lamborghini Aventador S, Land Rover Defender and the Lamborghini Countach. You can find a few leaked screenshots of new kits below, with a video from GZILLA coming soon:
According to GZILLA, these are new KS Edition Cars designed by Khyzyl Saleem (who created the Volvo cover car and the four Deluxe Edition cars). Khyzyl Saleem himself said there were other vehicles he worked on while he was at Ghost that didn’t make it into the game at launch, so its very likely we might be getting these cars as DLC in the future.
Personally, I hope these kits (if they do make it into the game) can be applied to the current versions of the cars and not made into a separate car. The one downside of KS’ designs are that the customization is locked, meaning you can’t even change things like the wheels or the license plate, which will deter people from actually using them for longer than a few minutes.
What do you think of these new bodykit designs? Are you excited to see them come to Need for Speed Heat in the future, or are you more interested in new cars and content than a few customization options for current cars? Share your thoughts below!
