Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.19 Adds New Track, Vehicles and Events
After being teased last week, the latest update for Gran Turismo Sport has been officially revealed and releases later today. This new content update adds a brand new track, along with nine new vehicles and more GT League events.
Just ahead of the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race on June 16, the famous Circuit de la Sarthe is being added to Gran Turismo Sport. Known for its long periods driven under full throttle and the demanding stress it puts on both cars’ and drivers’ braking abilities - this will provide a challenge to the most dedicated of players.
Nine new vehicles have been added to Brand Central, check out the complete list of cars below:
- Fiat 500 F ’68
- Jaguar XJR-9 ’88
- Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 ’67
- Sauber Mercedes C9 ’89
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR ’96
- Nissan R92CP ’92
- Renault Sport Megane Trophy ’11
- Renault Sport Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy ’16
- Subaru BRZ S ’15
Three new events have been added to Gran Turismo Sport's single-player campaign mode GT League; Group 4 Cup, World Hatchback Championship and Lamborghini Cup
The Group 4 Cup will restrict players to events in French only cars. The World Hatchback Championship league will restrict players to events in GR. B class cars only. Finally, the Lamborghini Cup league will restrict players to events in specified Vision Gran Turismo cars only.
In addition, new rounds of races have been added for Clio Cup (Beginner League), FR Challenge + (Amateur League), F1500 Championship (Professional League) and GR.1 Protoype Endurance Series (Endurance League).
