Gran Turismo Sport’s next update has been officially confirmed and will release later this week, with Gran Turismo director Kazunori Yamauchi once again teasing on Twitter that five new cars will be added in the update.

Last week we reported on a leak ahead of last weekend’s FIA Gran Turismo Championship Cup of four of the new cars coming in this update alongside the speculation that more wet weather tracks are set to make its way into Gran Turismo Sport, which has since been confirmed.

In Yamauchi-san’s tweet, it confirms that the four previously-leaked vehicles will be making its way into the game in addition to another that was not revealed at the time: The Redbull X2019 Competition.

You can check out the teaser and car-list below:

  • Renault Sport Clio V6 ’00

  • Toyota Sports 800 ’65

  • Toyota Tundra TRD Pro ’19.

  • Redbull X2019 Competition ‘19

A Brand-New course is set to be released with this update: Sardegna Road Track, which was shown off during the Championships this weekend and adds features three new race tracks.

This update will most likely introduce a wet weather condition for some courses in the game, with the Championships showcasing the Red Bull Ring with wet weather which is something not featured in Gran Turismo Sport as of now.

We can also expect the usual content to be included in this update such as a new scapes playlist, a few new rounds to the GT League and a new circuit experience, however we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with all the new content when the update drops later this week.
