Gran Turismo Sport August Update Adds Eight New Vehicles

Out of nowhere, a brand new content update has been released for Gran Turismo Sport and is available now to download, adding with it eight new vehicles, a new track, new GT League events and more.

There are some pretty interesting cars added with this update, including an S2K, Fiat 500 and even a classic Mr Bean Mini Cooper. The full list of the eight new vehicles include:

  • Abarth 500 ‘09
  • Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 ‘52
  • Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
  • Ford Mark IV Race Car ’67
  • Lancia DELTA HF Integrale Evoluzione ‘91
  • Mini-Cooper ‘S’ ‘65
  • Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé ‘64
  • Volkswagen 1200 ‘66
     

The Red Bull Ring has been added as Gran Turismo Sport's latest circuit track, a returning track from Gran Turismo 6 which was added in a post-release content update. The Red Bull Ring is a short track measuring in at 2.68 miles, featuring nine corners meant to challenge all types of drivers.

Three new events have been added to Gran Turismo Sport's single-player campaign mode GT League;  

  • Beetle & Samba Bus Festa (Beginner League)
  • Group 3 Cup (Amateur League)  
  • Nostalgic 1979 (Professional League)

An Archive Mode has been added to Sport Mode, allowing players to check out their previous race results. In addition, the Saint-Croix circuit track added in the July Update is now available in Circuit Experience, and the Zagato Museum has now been added to the Scapes Mode.
