GRID Announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Launches This September
After almost five years since Grid Autosport, Codemasters has revealed a new and fourth entry into the dormant GRID series, and will launch this September on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
GRID retains its hallmark focus on street racing and realistic damage, which can both affect the cars performance and handling much like previous entries. GRID features an incredibly responsive handling model with a learning curve that appeals to both casual arcade and core sim racers alike.
As you progress through GRID you’ll be rewarded with various liveries, player cards, team mates, driving accolades and achievements. GRID also features challenging AI drivers, that will push players to their limits to earn a place on the podium and ultimate victory in the GRID World Series Championship.
Codemasters revealed they are working with Spanish racing driver Fernando Alonso to help make improvements to both the performance and handling of our cars. Alonso will also be featured in-game, presumably as a Race Consultant for players.
