Gran Turismo Sport July Update Teases Outfit Livery Editor
Gran Turismo Sport's new major update launching at the end of July is shaping up to be a big one, with Polyphony Digital teasing a brand new and community-requested feature being added alongside a new track in the July Update.
Gran Turismo Sport features a livery editor to create your own custom liveries for vehicles, but nothing for your characters outfit or helmets. Customizing outfits in Gran Turismo Sport is limited to changing the colour of five areas of your racing suit, and just one area for helmet.
That appears to be changing in the July Update, with a video tweeted out showcasing multiple customized outfits suggesting players will be able to finally customize their Driver Gear with decals the same way you can with vehicles.
This a great new addition that allows those hardcore players to express their creativity in other ways than just their vehicles, allowing them to replicate real-world outfits or design their own, something missing from Gran Turismo Sport's other updates which focused mainly on new vehicles and events.
Gran Turismo Sport's July Update content has not been fully revealed yet, but its off to a promising start with a new driver gear editor and a brand new track which appears to be set in Southern France.
No new vehicles or GT League events have been teased for the update, however with several days to go until the update releases, new teasers are bound to be revealed and you can expect coverage on those teasers and the updates full content as soon as they are revealed.
