Forza Motorsport 7 Hidden Game Files Could Hint At Forza Horizon 4's Setting
Forza Horizon 4 is all but confirmed to be launching later this year, with a recent slip of the tongue outing an E3 reveal, with the games setting currently unknown. Many have speculated, ourselves included, that Horizon 4 will be set in either Dubai or Japan, however one keen-eyed forum poster may have discovered the actual location the game will be set in based on a hints prior to Horizon 3's reveal.
With the release of Forza Motorsport 7's latest K1 Speed Pack, GTPlanet reported that several new cars have also been discovered hidden inside the game files of the new patch. These new leaked files include vehicles such as the McLaren Senna, TVR Speed 12 and the 2018 Ford Mustang.
Over on ResetEra, a user going by the name of '2112' pointed out that the majority of cars found in the game files are British, consisting mostly of early-mid 20th century era vehicles, possibly hinting at Horizon 4 being set in the United Kingdom. In the past, Forza Motorsport 6 added a bunch of Australian cars to the game before Forza Horizon 3 was announced, adding credibility to the claim.

While it is possible Forza Horizon 4 could be set in the United Kingdom, we find it very unlikely. Previous Forza Horizon maps offered fun and adventurous open-world playgrounds to explore set in perfect holiday getaway locations, and a UK setting wouldn't provide the same effect let alone fit the series.
These leaked cars however, will more than likely be added into Forza Motorsport 7 sometime in the coming months as an upcoming unannounced car pack, and most likely also appear in Forza Horizon 4 based on how all Forza titles (more or less) share the same car list.
