Fast & Furious Crossroads Gets New August Release Date and Gameplay Reveal

With the latest installment of the Fast saga now on the backburner until April 2021, it was unknown whether movie tie-in title Crossroads would suffer the same fate (or F8 if you’re Vin Diesel). Fear not, as Codemasters and developer Slightly Mad Studios have announced the title will launch this August, and debuted an “interesting” gameplay reveal.

Fast & Furious Crossroads, originally scheduled to launch back in May, will now launch on August 7th, 2020. You can also check out the brand-new gameplay footage below, which makes Need for Speed Payback look like a masterpiece.

From the original reveal, Crossroads will supposedly feature a form of online multliplayer. While the online multiplayer has yet to be revealed, it will most likely be co-op based where the other players play as different characters from the Fast universe shown in the left hand corner of the gameplay trailer.

Fast & Furious Crossroads is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios (Need for Speed SHIFT, Project CARS) and will launch on August 7th, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
