A few months back, we reported that Three Fields Entertainment, the studio founded by Ex-Criterion Games developers Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, were working on a new arcade racing game and that an announcement will come "soon".

Today, Three Fields Entertainment have announced not one but two new arcade racing games coming out this year for PS4, Xbox One and PC: Danger Zone 2 (a sequel to last year's Danger Zone) and Dangerous Driving

Danger Zone 2 launches next month and takes the crash testing series out into the public, with locations across the globe including America, United Kingdom and Spain. There will be a total of 26 single-player levels to complete which are set across 17 different locations, including the M1 and LAX Airport.

"Danger Zone 2 is a significant step up from the first game with lots more driving including drifting and boosting, a variety of objectives, brand new vehicles and even more spectacular crashes." Sperry told Eurogamer.

You can check out some Danger Zone 2 screenshots below:

Dangerous Driving is a competitive closed-track racing game which sounds like a Burnout spiritual successor, featuring boosts, takedowns, destruction and car crashes that Burnout is known for.

Dangerous Driving is the studios most ambitious title yet, returning the studio back to their arcade racing roots, and will launch some time this Winter.

Are you excited for a Danger Zone sequel and a Burnout spiritual successor? We will definitely be keeping our eyes on these! We will be sure to keep you updating on all future news and announcements for Danger Zone 2 and Dangerous Driving.
