Codemasters are adding slew of brand-new content to DIRT 5 this week, seeing the release of the off-road racers’ second post-launch DLC ‘The Uproar Content Pack’ in Update 4.00 - including new cars, career events, liveries, private lobbies, trophies/achievements and much more.

The Uproar Content Pack transports us back in time adding four unqiue and eye-catching vehicles from 2012’s DiRT Showdown: The Duke Coupe, Zenden Cup, Jackson Adventurer and the Jackson Eulogy.

The Duke Coupe is a powerful long wheelbase car with hot rod stylings and huge tyres available in the Rally GT Class, with the compact Zenden Cup available in the Rally Cross class sporting a boxy chassis and aerodynamic flair housing its powerful engine.

The Jackson Adventurer is an Unlimited class beast packed with unnecessary extras and big shock absorbers ready for big jumps, while the most unique car of the bunch - the Jackson Eulogy - is a Classic Rally class machine decked out with custom details and performance upgrades.

These four new Showdown machines will feature in the new ‘Uproar’ Career thread, featuring 25 new Career events to play through taking place among new race scenarios across the globe including locales as New York, Nepal, Italy, and South Africa.

PUMA and OffRoad Extreme are two new sponsor options coming in the Uproar pack, with new items including unique liveries, player profile options and custom livery patterns to unlock when signed to these sponsors during Career mode.

New Trophies/Achievements are coming in 4.00 for both Uproar and the previously-release Energy content pack career threads. If you’ve met the requirements during the Energy career thread already, the new trophies/achievements will automatically unlock. Additionally, a mileage tracker is being added to track the progress of that pesky ‘Drive 1000 Miles’ trophy/achievement.

Free to all players in DIRT 5’s Update 4.00 is a huge slate of content across multiple game modes, with Playgrounds receiving a new night-time theme known as the After Dark Playgrounds Update. This update features 20+ new items added to the arena creator, including fireworks, new checkpoints, loops, jumps and disco themed Gymkhana spin zones.

By popular demand, classic official liveries are being added to four off-road legends: the BMW M1 Procar, SUBARU WRX STI RX Supercar, SUBARU Impreza S4 Rally, and MITSUBISHI LANCER EVOLUTION VI. You can check them out below:

Finally, several community-requested additions have been added with update 4.00, including the addition of private lobbies and Verified Creators in Playgrounds mode, alongside various visual and technical fixes/improvements across the board.

DIRT 5’s Uproar Content Pack and Update 4.00 launch on March 30th for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and Windows Store platforms. The Uproar Content Pack will be automatically added to DIRT 5 for players who own the Amplified Edition or Year One Upgrade, or cost £9.99/€11.49/$12.49USD separately.
