Original Burnout Paradise Servers Will Shut Down in August
After over 11 years, EA have announced that the servers for the original Burnout Paradise will officially be shutting down later this year.
Announced over on the official Burnout Paradise Facebook page, the servers for the original Burnout Paradise will shut down on August 1st 2019.
This applies only to the original PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions which released back in January 2008, the remastered versions on PS4, Xbox One and PC will not be affected.
You will still be able to play Burnout Paradise offline, however as of August 1st you will not be able to play online - meaning certain online trophies/achievements and cars will no longer be obtainable. So if you want the Diamond P12, you best get to work as you only have 106 days left!
Burnout Paradise was an excellent game and one I among many have very fond memories of. It was one of the first titles I picked up with my PlayStation 3 back in the day, the first game I ever got a platinum trophy in and a game where I met a lot of the closest friends I have today.
