Back in April, it was announced via the PlayStation Blog that all four Naughty Dog developed Jak & Daxter games, Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3 and Jak X, will be making there PlayStation 4 debut at a later point in 2017, with it being the first time since it's 2005 release that racing spin-off Jak X will be re-released. Since the announcement we've heard nothing of the titles and when they will release, until today.

With Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy being tied as a pre-order incentive to Naughty Dog's latest title, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, many speculated the quadrilogy would release in late August however we may be seeing them much sooner than expected. The American ratings board known as the ESRB have recently rated all four games, meaning that their release is imminent and could be releasing before the end of July.

These games are the original PS2 ports, and not an upgraded port of the PS3 HD Collection, meaning all the bugs and glitches that were found in the PS3 collection will not be present. All four games will be up-rendered in 1080p with Trophy support, a first for Jak X, and include additional enhanced PS4 features such the ability to take screenshots and record/livestream gameplay, shareplay and remote play.
